FAQ

WHAT IS THE 10 FOR $10?

The best way to initially experience MADE Fitness is to try the 10 day deal for just $10. We call this the "10 for $10". This is a 10-day unlimited class pass, starting your first day that you visit our gym. You may attend any class that we offer during that time period. In this way, you can be sure that MADE is a good fit for you before becoming a regular member.

WHAT IF I AM LATE OR NEED TO CANCEL A PERSONAL TRAINING SESSION?

Clients that are 20 minutes late and have not called will be considered a cancellation. Please call if you are on your way. Please keep in mind that late arrivals my not receive the full 1 hour session due to a client coming in after you. Any personal training session cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged for one personal training session. Exceptions may be made for emergency situations. All personal training sessions are non-refundable. Sessions expire after one year. You may transfer sessions to family members, friends, or coworkers.

HOW CAN I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP OR FREEZE MY ACCOUNT?

To freeze or cancel your memberships please go to info@madelouisville.com and put in request. We can freeze your membership up to 2 months. To terminate your membership after the initial membership term has expired, you must send a written 30 day notice requesting a cancellation to our email address info@madelouisville.com. Notice shall be tendered pursuant to this agreement and will be effective 30 days after receipt by MADE Fitness and Training Center with all fees due prior to effective date of termination. Members must be current in dues to terminate.

WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major credit cards including MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN A CONTRACT?

You do not have to sign a contract. You may pay for your training per class or month to month, but you will find it to be less expensive to sign a 3 or 6 month commitment. For personal training, all packages must be purchased prior to your first session. Please give us a call for more details.

WHAT MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS DO YOU HAVE?

We have several membership options to suit your needs. You can choose between the following options: pay per class, month to month memberships, 3 month commitment memberships, and 6 month commitment memberships. Please give us a call for pricing and more details.

DO YOU HAVE CHANGING ROOMS OR SHOWERS?

Both men and women have their own over-sized restroom with lockers and a shower. You may rent a permanent locker if you would like to store your gear at MADE.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

MADE is a fitness training studio for classes and personal training and not a gym that can be used at all hours of the day. Please call to make an appointment if you would like to visit the facility. The facility will only be open 15 minutes before classes start and 15 minutes after classes end. Due to the limited space in our facility, if you arrive early you may have to wait for your appropriate training time to enter the facility.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING OR PURCHASE?

Kettlebell HT is a barefoot class. You may wear barefoot training shoes, if you prefer, but standard running shoes are not permitted. Kettlebells require that you work from a firm base and the rubber cushioning that you will get from a running shoe is counterproductive, as it makes it difficult to stabilize. Some of the acceptable footwear includes Puma Speed Cats, Puma Drift Cats, Merrell Vapor, Vibram Five Fingers, Inov-8 Bare-XF and Converse Chuck Taylor. Box N Burn requires you to use boxing gloves and boxing wraps. You may borrow our gear for the first two times you attend class. You can purchase everything you need right here at MADE once you decide this class is for you.

IS THERE A MAXIMUM NUMBER OF MEMBERS INA CLASS?

We try to limit our classes to 20 members at one class time to ensure that we give every member the attention they deserve.

HOW CAN I GET STARTED? DO I NEED TO SIGN UP FOR CLASSES TO RESERVE MY SPOT?

To get started, please give us a call 24 hours before the class you would like to attend. You can reach us at 502-544-6336. We will then schedule and reserve your spot for your first Kettlebell, Box N Born or BJJ class.

HOW OFTEN DO I NEED TO TRAIN?

Training frequency is going to vary with each participant. In the beginning, we recommend that you train 2 to 3 times per week until your body gets acclimated to the training. Training too often too soon may result in extreme soreness, making your experience counterproductive. Sometimes, in strength and conditioning, less is more.

HOW INTENSE ARE THE WORKOUTS?

Our programs are designed to be vigorous and challenging, but ultimately you decide the intensity of the workout. The difficulty of each workout is designed to make you realize your great physical potential and develop mental toughness. You control how strenuous it will be based on your pace and the weights you choose.
